K-House's History

Our Story

Kingdom House Ministries was founded in the Spring of 2000 by Timothy J. Moore after returning from the mission field of Ecuador. While in Ecuador, God gave Tim a vision for how to reach out to, disciple, and serve the young people of Stark County. Kingdom House began a series of Bible Studies which brought together teenagers and young adults from all different denominations and walks of life and the group grew in number, fellowship, and richness of experience in Christ.

In 2004, the building at 2216 Cleveland Ave. NW in Canton, Ohio was acquired. For nearly 5 years, Tim and Kristen Moore lived on location with other young believers as they lived in community and ministered together running the ministry of Kingdom House. They did outreach in the city and then opened the doors of Kingdom House to the young people they were reaching out to for house events and Bible Studies. The majority of the young people who lived with the Moore’s at Kingdom House are now in ministry with churches and other missions organizations.

As the Moore’s move into a new phase of their own ministry, they, along with Dr. John Geib, and the Board of Kingdom House, through the Kingdom Year program feel called to help disciple a new generation of leaders who will be thoroughly equipped to help lead the Church in the next generation, and will serve the Church and Christ today.
